Coffee + Books + Art = Me
My name is Irina and I am the lead and owner of Picture in a Dream.
I am a self proclaimed coffee addict and bookaholic and I love creating functional art that will be a part of people's daily lives. So many important moments happen over a cup of morning coffee or evening tea and I love the idea of adding just a bit of coziness to them with my creations.
The books you see in many of the art photos are some of my all time favorites (Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Series features prominently) and a little private reminder and inspiration to me every time I look at them.
One of my favorite things about the work I do here is getting to know my customers. Every story is different and lovely in its own way.
As a small business owner I am an experienced product manager, usability researcher and consumer product content creator. I am responsible for all product marketing materials creation, SEO, social media presence development, client communication and revenue stream management. Prior to that I worked in the enterprise technology sector for 8 years as Interaction Designer and User Experience Researcher. My background is in Cognitive Science and Information Management. I am fluent in English and Russian.
